​Arron "Ray St. Valentine" Baptist is a man who lets his inner strength and soul shine through his poetry and his writings. Although LAUSD K-12 public schools didn’t take the time to acquaint him with poetry, Valentine was introduced to spoken word, literary poetry, and prose in his undergraduate years as a Black Studies major at CSU Dominguez Hills. Ray St. Valentine has been described as a New Age Black Man for his revolutionary ideas on masculinity, feminism, and family—along with his undying love and respect for All Black Lives. Faithful to himself, his words, and his pen, Valentine is a lover of the ultimate spoken word.
