Denesha LaFontant is a senior Sociology and Biology major at Union College. In addition to her academic pursuits, Denesha is an accomplished athlete, and a member of Union's women's volleyball and track & field teams.Through her poetry, Denesha has found an outlet for exploring and expressing her identity, experiences, and emotions. Her words are powerful and insightful, and provide a window into her unique perspective as a young black woman navigating the complexities of the world around her.
