  • Francis Grunow is a native (and current) Detroiter. He works as a public policy consultant during the day, and finds time during the evening and weekends to write about cities, usually for Model D. His lives include a stint as a city planner in New York City, a filmmaker, a law student, parade organizer, and the head of Detroit's architectural preservation organization, among other various nefarious activities. He believes Detroit's best days are ahead of it.
