Gail Griffin is the author of four works of nonfiction, including “The Events of October”: Murder-Suicide on a Small Campus (2010) and the forthcoming Widow’s Walk: A Memoir in Fragments (2020). She is the winner of New Ohio Review’s nonfiction prize as well as poetry prizes at Calyx and Folio. Seven poems from her poetry chapbook, Virginals, were featured recently in The Missouri Review. Her poetry, essays, and brief nonfiction have appeared in venues including Fourth Genre, Solstice, Chattahoochie Review, and anthologies including Fresh Water: Women Writing on the Great Lakes.
