Gregory Goodrich is a writer from Los Angeles, California, blending elements of contemporary rhythms and lyricism with concepts from classical literature that prominently features a highly critical, self-analytical, perspective. In an age dominated by short format media, his poetry is often characterized by the opposite, in longer, unstructured, narratives, that however, still read somewhat rapidly due to their raving flow of consciousness style. He is currently studying English Literature with an emphasis in creative writing, along with Art History, at the University of California, Irvine.Gregory’s poetry has appeared previously in Michigan State University’s literary magazine, The Offbeat (Volume 16), Alchemy Magazine (2020) by Portland Community College, and New Forum (Fall 2021), a University of California, Irvine, literary journal.
