I am Jahruneel Thyja Rai, I am a psychology major that has an interest in poetry. I have always admired how poetry has been written and never imagined myself attempting it until recently. I am proud of my work, and I am glad I am able to incorporate things I learn into my poetry, I am mainly inspired by the classes I take and books I constantly read. I Have to thank my two professors, Linda Dove and Mike Sonsken for encouraging me to pursue poetry. I never had much confidence in my writing until they both helped me realize I am a writer.
