Born in Florida, raised in Virginia, Jeaniah Hudley graduated from C.D. Hylton High School and earned her high school diploma in June of 2021. At Northern Virginia Community College, she has been studying Visual Arts and will transfer to attend Virginia State University to continue and earn her Bachelor’s in Visual Arts. In her free time, she chats with friends, draws, sleeps, and plays with her toy poodle named Chico. This essay is very special to Jeaniah because throughout her years of growing up, she learned more about what it means to have equality, so she took the time to express herself through writing.
