I graduated from the University of Maryland in January 1968. I enlisted in the US Army after college and, after basic training (Fort Dix, NJ) and advanced training (Fort Holibird, MD), I was assigned to the Fifth-Army and its US Military Intelligence unit out of San Francisco, CA.
After three years in San Francisco, I was discharged and, with my wife, Lorraine, we moved back to NJ to begin our lives together; my first job was in my father's CPA firm where I stayed for five years. During those years I received valuable business experiences as well as becoming a CPA myself. Lorraine and I moved back to California to Fort Bragg, CA where I hung out my own shingle and began to practice as a CPA. It's what I am still doing.
