Mark Nardone is a writer and student at East Los Angeles College. The fundamental force that compels the majority of his creative works derives from the very George Bernard Shaw's perceived purpose of art, that it is the only alternative to torture. His works spawn from introspective reflection. These reflections respond to important and telling scenarios that bring to rise the pangs of his past and how they influence him in the present. These works are an attempt to healthily project the pain and suffering that life may bring and come to a wholesome understanding of these events, successfully inquiring where and how these past pains present themselves before him in the world. He aims to improve on his writing in the future and hopefully stray from flash-fiction and hone his skill in developing character arcs, eventually writing fully fleshed-out short stories and novels.
