Salutations, my name's Melanie Ortiz Ayala. I attend high school as a sophomore in Cerritos, California. I like to write a lot and sometimes they slip into poems. That’s when I found out I really like to write poetry so I just continued and let my pen be my mind which spills onto the paper. Minds are a very interesting place to explore and I feel like, when people write that’s when you can physically see what’s on their minds. Literature can be such an adventure and that’s one odyssey I’d love to continue to encounter. :)
