Sharanna Brown, a Flint, Michigan native, received her B.A. in Communications from Alabama State University before going on to obtain her M.A. from University of Alabama at Birmingham. While her non-fiction has been published in UAB’s PMS, her true passion—fiction with a hint of historical context—has been published in Fredericksburg Literary Review. With plans to become a revered novelist, the idealistic, spontaneous and fun-loving wife and new mother resides in Montgomery, Alabama as a southern transplant.
