Now that the holidays are in full swing, check out this short list of do’s and don’ts that will help brighten what can be an awful season for some people.
First and foremost, don’t compare your family to other families. You never know what’s going on behind the scenes.
Try to be patient with everyone, especially older folks who like to reminisce about yesteryear.

You’re also probably going to run into people you don’t want to see. Try not to be rude (back away slowly).
It’s difficult, but try not to spend all your time on the phone.
If all else fails, there’s always therapy.
Stay safe and sane!
