Dunbar Response Poem

The whole word wears a mask
Hiding our lies and tribulations
Cause hiding is always an easy task
We lack communication

It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes
Diminishing a sense of self identity
We wear the mask through our lows and highs
Creating a monster, a secluded entity

We urge others to show their true form
To be as clear as a glass tile
Yet some are insecure and torn
Dunbar says “with torn and bleeding hearts we smile.”

Dunbar, I thank you for the reality check
This world needs to get out of from the  third deck
