The Earth remembers:
- The cry that cracked her open
- The day your car smoked
like the incense I burned
in your absence
- When I grew tired
of bending backwards
and took to yoga–
a wearied warrior gazing in the mirror
We were mirrors once
Canyons echoing laughter
Narcissus and his lake
The Earth cannot find us
The canyon collapsed
The lake has run dry
Where do we go when we’re gone?
