Pixel painter Hal Lasko – better known as Grandpa – is a 98-year old artist and former Graphic Designer who worked in the industry before computers were invented. Long after he retired, his family introduced him to the wonders of Microsoft Paint. Since then, Hal has gone on to spend 10 hours a day at the computer, making paintings the old-fashioned way: pixel by pixel. His art is a combination of 8-bit imagery and pointillist technique, proving you’re never too old to learn a new trick.
