My dandelion

I brought you dandelions,
So cheeky and lemony,
They blossomed together
With your youthful heart.

Full of hopes and desires,
And pretty wicked smiles.
You took them so carefully,
Like the stars from the sand.

I needed you to keep it,
Forever if possible,
So that I could see you
Smile once again.

But darling,
I see now.
There’s nothing essential.
Your heart is no longer,
Longs for that grass.

What are you looking for?
