Spring cleaning – bodies only
Rinse the dust and dirt from off your skin,
Blow the fetid air from every lung,
Scrape all the plaque and mucous from your tongue,
Dump all the body’s waste out in the bin.
But …
Gaze only on the mirror of your conscious mind,
Relax your thoughts and let your brain unwind,
Don’t prick the shining surface with a pin,
For who knows what creatures stir within?
