This week, we are attending our very first AWP conference. AWP is the Association of Writers & Writing Programs. We’re both excited and, based on stories from previous attendees, terrified. I am not much for industry trade shows and this appears to be one of those. At least this one is in Seattle, a city filled with people and food I love.

Anyway, knowing us, we will make the most of it!

We are once again teaming up with our favorite indie press, Kaya Press. We will be joining them at their booth (since, you know, we can’t really afford our own booth) and we will be bringing our PUBLISH! project with us.

As we did in New York in June when we started our Year of Underground Publishing, Writ Large Press, this time in conjunction with Kaya Press, will help writers write and publish their own books. We will even launch the books at AWP, book release party and all!

This time, the books will be titled I Launched My Book @ AWP 2014. You can follow the festivities on Twitter by tracking #YouCanToo.

Anyway, I will keep you updated through our twitter account (@writlarge) so be sure to follow us.

And so I don’t leave you hanging, here is the newest Poetry Problem Set that is part of the ongoing PUBLISH! project.

Take care! Wish us luck in Seattle!
