  • Jamal Carter is an underground artist who rarely publishes his work, but when he feels so inspired, he shares his inspiration with the intent to change the views of those who listen. "I used to make art just to feel important and valuable, now I make art to make an impact. My art seems to appeal to those interested in seeing the world through different lenses. My work isn't meant to be taken as truth per se, but as a perspective the mind is capable of creating. I consider it a sort of 'brain hacktivism' because it improves mental flexibility, which is what we need more of right now."
