Venice is the hometown of many artists and remains a place of attraction for art lovers. Once a year, the Venice Family Clinic organizes the Venice Art Walk and fund-raising silent auction. In 2019 thirty-four artists opened their doors to visitors.

After checking on the artists having open studios, we shortlisted eight: Laddy John Dill (with whom Ruth had had a class when we were students at U.C.L.A.), Elisabeth Orleans, Tanja Skala, Greg Falk, Alejandro Gehry, Natasha Maidoff, our friend Sandy Bleifer, and Natasa Prosenc Stearns.

The short documentary that accompanies this illustrates our walk.
