January Gill O’Neil is the author of Glitter Road (2024), winner of the Julia Ward Howe Prize and the Poetry by the Sea Best Book Award. She teaches at Salem State University and chairs the AWP Board. Her poems have appeared in Poetry, The New York Times Magazine, and The Nation.
