“Are you famous?” the girls asked us as we headed down Main St.
“No,” we said.
“Do you know any famous people? Do you know where any famous people are?”
We knew that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was across the street, Rose McGowan was down the block, Wayne Newton was in the lounge behind them, Glenn Close had just come to town and Steven Spielberg would show up for a screening the next day, but that didn’t seem to be the point. These girls, Park City locals, wouldn’t have been able to get past security for their own celebrity close-encounter.
“Are you sure you’re not famous?” they asked again.
“Sorry,” we replied, “but we think you should be.”
Here they are. Three famous young women on Main St. at Sundance.
