Abraham Alvarez enters his 5th year of teaching, he teaches World History and Senior Religion. He is also the Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Dean at St. Bernard High School. A graduate of California State University, Long Beach, where he was an All-American pitcher for the Dirtbags in 2002 and 2003. Mr. Alvarez went on to play eight seasons of professional baseball, earning a World Series ring with the Boston Red Sox in 2004. He is currently working towards his Masters degree & Catechist Certificate from LMU.
