Chath pierSath was born in Battambang, Cambodia, in 1970 and came to the U.S. at age ten. His poetry appears in Prayers for a Thousand Years and Children of Cambodia’s Killing Fields, edited by Dith Pran. He is the author of Echoes Lost to Wind (2024) and On Earth Beneath Sky (2020). Chath lives on a small farm in Bolton, Massachusetts. His poetry and art reflect the rhythms of rural life, shaped by memory, quiet labor, and a deep connection to the land.
