Daniel McGinn is the author of The Moon, My Lover, My Mother & The Dog which was published by Moon Tide Press and can be purchased at his website: www.poetmcginn.com. He is also the winner of Laguna Beach's John Gardner Community Poetry Contest for 2018. Daniel received his MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Write Bloody published his first full-length collection of poetry, 1000 Black Umbrellas in 2011. Five of his chapbooks have been included in the Laguna Poets Series. Daniel has been a regular contributor to Next Magazine and the O.C. Weekly and also curated a reading series at Bean’s coffee house in Whittier California. He was a member a member of the 1996 Los Angeles National Slam team. Daniel has been married to the poet and painter, Lori McGinn, for 41 years.
