Juniper Jones is a multidisciplinary artist and writer from Detroit, Michigan. Rooted in Black family archives and material memory, their work moves across poetry, painting, and installation to explore the fluid nature of recollection and the emotional weight of lived experience. Juniper holds a BFA in Fine Art from ArtCenter College of Design and is expected to receive their MFA in Art from the University of Michigan. Their poetry and visual work have appeared in Our Light Through Darkness (2021) and Nu Gallery Magazine (2019).
