Michelle Bi is a high school senior from Oak Park, California. As a student writer, she’s drawn to dualities and intersections: youth and maturation, love and letting go, the roots and the leaves. Some of her guilty pleasures include taking excessive amounts of sunset pictures, Trader Joe’s chai mints, and folding so many origami cranes that they begin to overcrowd her desk. Michelle is a member of The 309 Collective, a group of young California poets, writers, musicians & artists.
