Sophie Ma (she/her) is a poet and short fiction writer based in San Jose and a student at Archbishop Mitty High School. Her writing centers around themes of self-worth and longing, often with a flair of fantasy and dry humor. She uses her writing to understand, to feel, and often to explore her own self identity. Sophie loves going on solo dates, hanging out with herself, eating good food, and collecting stationary. On a typical day, she can be found lounging in her room, painting her nails, and blasting mellow tunes.
