I am Yazmin Ortiz. I grew up and still currently live in South Central; I am now an undergraduate student at Woodbury University majoring in Psychology with a minor in Professional Writing. I love to lay back and reminisce in 90’s alternative rock. I feel in a way the bands that I have built my music taste on has influenced some aspects of my style as a writer. I believe that writing breaks the glass, the glass we place in front of ourselves to distance communication from one another. Writing spills life’s truths.
